Skilling and Education

There is a mismatch between the skills employees have and those that employers seek.  This skill gap now is translating into increasing skill-based education, providing multiple entry and exit in the otherwise traditional programs of study, providing projects and study options with industry participation. The skill-up economy exists at the intersection of education and career paths.

We’re intrigued by the emerging ecosystem of providers, which include cluster universities and institutes, community colleges, training partners, centres and intensive bootcamps.  As people pursue high-tech jobs, knowledge and skill-building must occur intentionally and continuously, we build the right ecosystem to deliver the needs.
